The short version

No contact forms. No analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served with this website. You choose whether to contact us by email or telephone.

1. Who we are

CreativeWorx is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is responsible for the personal information it handles through business enquiries and services described in this notice.

For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email info@creativeworx.co.za or call +27 71 895 5603. Please mark written requests “Privacy enquiry”.

2. Information we handle

  • Information you choose to share. If you email or phone us, this can include your name, email address, telephone number, business details, project brief, design files and other information in your enquiry. If you proceed with an order, you may also provide the details needed to quote, invoice or deliver your work.
  • Technical website information. The hosting service may record information such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, referral information, access time and errors in server or security logs. These logs support website operation and troubleshooting; they are separate from visitor analytics.
  • Your browser preference. The website stores your essential-only privacy choice in local storage on your device after you save it. This preference is not sent to CreativeWorx.

There is no contact form or file-upload function on this website. An email or telephone link opens the relevant application on your device; clicking it does not automatically send your enquiry to us. Please only share information needed for your project.

3. Why we use information

Information you provide is used to reply to you, discuss or prepare a quotation, plan and fulfil agreed services, and maintain related business records. Technical logs may be used to keep the website functioning and investigate faults or misuse.

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be needed to take steps towards an agreement at your request, perform an agreement, meet a legal obligation, pursue a legitimate interest permitted by law, or act on specific consent. Visiting this website or saving an essential-only preference is not consent to marketing or tracking.

Supplying enquiry information is voluntary. Without the details needed to understand or respond to a request, we may be unable to assist with it.

4. Hosting, email and other recipients

EndGame Technologies provides CreativeWorx’s website hosting and email services. Information passing through those services may be processed as part of delivering, maintaining or securing them.

Where needed for an enquiry or agreed work, relevant information may be handled by people assisting CreativeWorx with that work or by providers involved in its fulfilment. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law. Contact us for details relevant to your enquiry, including provider processing locations, applicable safeguards for any cross-border processing, and technical log retention.

Our website does not include third-party analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds or remotely hosted fonts. Following an external link, including the Information Regulator link below, takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

5. Retention and protection

Personal information is retained only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Relevant factors include whether an enquiry or project is active, necessary business and accounting records, and the resolution of a dispute. Hosting and email records may have separate retention arrangements.

Contact us to ask about the retention of your particular information, request correction or qualifying deletion, or report a privacy concern. We may need reasonable proof of identity before releasing or changing personal information.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies. No non-essential service is loaded before or after saving the current privacy choice. There is therefore no optional tracking to accept.

The cookie banner and settings save an essential-only preference using browser local storage, which is different from a cookie. The item is named creativeworx_privacy_v1. It contains the policy version, the time of your choice, its expiry time, and settings confirming that analytics and advertising are off. It does not contain your name, email address or a visitor identifier.

The choice is valid for 180 days. On your next visit after it expires, the website discards the old choice and asks again. You can reopen from any page or remove the saved choice by clearing this website’s browser data. If your browser blocks local storage, the site still works and may show the notice again.

Acknowledging this notice does not authorise future tracking. If optional services are added, this notice and the consent controls must identify them and request a fresh, explicit choice before they are activated. Continuing to browse, scrolling or closing the settings does not give optional consent.

7. Your rights and complaints

Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and subject to its conditions and exceptions, you may:

  • Ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information or deletion where the law permits.
  • Object to processing where the law provides that right.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

Send requests to info@creativeworx.co.za. We may need to verify your identity and explain any applicable legal restrictions. To complain directly to the regulator, use the Information Regulator’s complaints service.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website or the way personal information is handled changes. The date at the top identifies the latest update. Any new non-essential tracking requires its own prior consent; an earlier essential-only choice will not be treated as permission.
